In order to complete this 8x4 meter slab, with concrete and steel retaining wall, us here at Kenny & Co had to overcome many challenges. The first: rain. Never ending and unrelenting, the only thing that allowed us to tackle this obstacle was patience. And getting muddy emptying the post holes for the fourth time.. Nevertheless, the final hurdle was getting the concrete from the road height, down to the slab. For this, we built a chute down the hill, removing the grass and topsoil, using PVC piping as the side guides, attached to 350mm steel pickets, and all covered in black plastic. All told, this slab came up beautifully.
